Andy's photos

Post by Reverdin »

Whilst up the Cynthia's mountainside last July, my son carried the old lumix.... and eventually I have bothered to look see what he shot at the time. It appears he managed to get shots of both Mountain CY and Alpine Grayling, neither of which I knew had been seen  - he also took this... my reason for posting.... I can't quite work out the size, and it looks part idas, part arion to me, so I thought I'd let you decide :D ....

I'm pretty sure that's idas. Although it's worn it has all the right bits in the right places! In particular, the orange, the silver studs, the even white wedges and the distribution of spots all point to Plebejus.
