Christmas Butterflies
Picture the scene..............................You have just pulled the Christmas decorations out from the understairs cupboard, only to discover that the cat (or some other large hairy object) has been sleeping on the box all year and has destroyed everything. The shops sold out of Christmas decorations in August and your neighbours won't lend you any because you accidentally released 500 Large Whites onto their Brassicas in the summer.
The house and the tree need to be decorated and all you have to hand are your butterfly images. How would you proceed?
Photoshopped images are definately allowed.............
Here are a few un-photoshopped suggestions to start you off.

Re: Christmas Butterflies
Thanks, Nick!
Because you said you liked it, I put a nicer frame around it when I got back from my walk this afternoon!
Gruditch and Lisa might remember the actual butterfly involved - a peak white, high in the Alps in July this year:
Now there's a picture to frighten all the little children this Christmas...

I'm sure this isn't what you had in mind, Vince, but I couldn't resist taking a quick snap in the kitchen where I have an olive tree which I have brought in for the winter which is decorated with swallowtail corpses.

Re: Christmas Butterflies
I found this rare aberrant beast earlier in the year ... I couldn't believe my luck!
I'm sure I heard bells when it flew off .....
Wishing all UKBers a very Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year.
Kindest regards. Mark
