Just need to know! :D

You know the Valesina - why is it sometimes spelt with a 'Z'. ??

In the gallery here, it's spelt with an 'S'.
On the Butterfly Conservation it's spelt with a 'Z'

Most taxonomies seem to use an "s" rather than a "z" - including the one on this website. The BC website is actually inconsistent, since the Fauna Europea taxonomy that we both use, uses an "s".

One confusing element might be that Fred Frohawk named his daughter after this form - and used "Valezina" as the spelling!

Cheers,

- Pete
