Spanish Festoon

Been living here on the coast of the Med between Malaga and Marbella for 20 months now but only seen one Spanish Festoon. Appologies for the second rate image...I only got one shot!

Hi Martin,

Lovely pics!

I have family not too far away from you, in the hills above Fuengirola. I have yet to try looking for butterflies there, though, mostly because I travel out at the wrong time of year. Where are good places to have a look?

Everywhere!

I even had a Swallowtail land on my satalite dish today...trouble was he took one look at the Canon and flew off
