identification please!!

identification please!!

If anybody could help with this butterfly-only problem was it was eaten by a stonechat bird as i was taking a picture.I have only been taking photo's of bird's for a year or so and only just started with butterfly's but i am taking more notice of them now and would like to be able to recognise them. Thanks
