Is this a small emerald? (Sorry, my dad took this and he is not that good at photography yet) If it is, it will be an important find.

Almost Dave! It's the light emerald (margaritata).

Hope so, Got book "Butterflies and moths of Northern Ireland" and its not in there. How common is it?
