Do DGF fly when the weather is overcast, or only in sunshine?

Three years ago I saw them in good numbers at Dinas Dinlle Sand Dunes in North Wales on an overcast and breezy day. The weather conditions made them much easier to approach and photograph than usual.

Thanks for the reply, David.
On the offchance I visited Velvet Bottom in Somerset on the way back to Bristol from Collard Hill, yesterday. It was breezy and overcast with rain imminent. I saw two very fresh looking individuals that were attempting to bask in sheltered spots out of the wind. But they were very alert, spotting me before I saw them, allowing me no chance for a photo. I'll make another trip next week if the weather's fine as scabius flowers are just emerging there, and I seem to remember that they like those.
