3 x Bird IDs Please

Post by Paulcrook »

Can anyone help with these 3 please (sorry about the quality). Are all the birds in the last photo the same (probably Dunlins but not sure if they all are)

Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul,
I think the first one is a whitethroat. There are plenty of them about in my area at the moment - a lot of them are the youngsters, probably bred from the summer (oxymoron) .

Hi Paul

The first is definitely a singing Whitethroat, the second looks like a female Reed Bunting and the birds in the third picture all appear to be winter plumaged Dunlin.
Cheers Paul
