Post by Pete Eeles »

Hi folks. This thread is here to allow you to cast your votes for the May 2007 competition (see entries at http://www.ukbutterflies.co.uk/phpBB2/v ... php?t=1050). You need to be registered and logged into the forums, where you'll be able to cast your vote for first place. Once you've voted, that's it!

Also - you won't see the current voting until you have voted!!!

This poll will run for 15 days.

So ... vote away!

Cheers,

- Pete

Congratulations to the winners

Oy,

I was told that the three components of a good photo are subject, composition and technique in equal measure. That considered, your pic was far better than the others; interesting behaviour (hanky panky), main subject popped from a clear background and perfectly sharp! brilliant, well done!

Regards,

Chris

Well done to the winners. I didn't vote for either of the top 2 myself. Good as both shots are I would plump for the pair of blues as the better of the 2.

I wouldn't say there was much difference in the difficulty of attaining either shot but the blues overall has the edge for me in terms of aesthetic appeal.

Thanks to my 1 voter whoever you were! I was pleased with the shot, and at least 1 other person in the world likes it too.

Regards
Matt
