A truly Fritillary hell (Halenkov, Czech Republic)

Post by The Annoying Czech »

Goddammit, how to start... Guys, I had a great trip (2011-07-07). I was literally attended by hundreds of Frit's. Now I'm desperate, and ashamed :D I mean I only identified Argynnis Paphias and one Argynnis Niobe that I'll be posting in my thread one fine day. Any tips about this nine?

(Don't want to see my doubtful Coppers)

THANK YOU, AND TRY TO AVOID THE FRITILLARIES

Here's my opinion:

1 aglaja
2 adippe
3 adippe
4 aglaja
5 aglaja
6 adippe
7 adippe
8 adippe female
9 niobe female

The first seven are males, and the sex brands identify them. A. aglaja has three (rather weak), adippe has two strong and niobe has two feeble. The last two are females and for those I'm just going on jizz - might be wrong. In particular, I'm torn between adippe and niobe for no. 8.

Guy,

thank you very much. I initially wanted to drop you a line via PM, but the result here is pretty much the same :) And I already erased the last two photos in dispute.

But this is not the end...

Please... Is this all Melitaea athalia only?

And the Lycaenas... Well, I'll probably throw some of them out, but still... What an old, worn bastards...
