Pity I missed this bit! From your video, I'd say they were canoodling...

Thanks to Susie for leading a very rewarding walk around Southwater woods and meadows. The highlight for me was seeing Purple Hairstreak at eye level for the first time. It was also nice to meet fellow enthusiasts including UKB'ers Mark Senior and Millerd.

Just to add my thanks to Susie for organising the event and playing the (very nice !) drill sergeant in keeping us in order. It was good to meet some of the regular posters on this site and what a great mornings & early afternoons search for butterflies !
My excursion to Iping Common; arrived 15.00 hrs, spent about 90 minutes wandering about during which time I saw 4 Silver studded Blue ( all males )to add to my days list. Then back to my pub B&B for a superb Sunday roast, a glass or two of lemonade and a long sleep ( in just about that order ).
Jenks.

It was lovely to meet you, Jenks. I am glad you found some SS blues at Iping too.
