Species List

Post by MikeOxon »

I've been looking at the species list on the front page of the website. In several cases, in the headline row of photos, there is a gap stating "no image available". For example, there is no female Holly Blue topside - and yet there are several good photos lower down the page in the Imago section. Why the gaps? - or is it just a case of finding time to make the transfers!

I need to go through and add these, again. A disgruntled member removed all his images, unfortunately, and there are holes in quite a few places where we have images.

Will do this today.

Cheers,

Ahh yes.......... much better now, but no Glanville Fritillary uppersides Pete :( . Also the underside view of the female Purple Hairstreak taken by the Kipper is actually another shot of the male that I took. We were taking turns photographing this individual, having found it newly emerged in the undergrowth  .

I'm impressed by your prompt response, Pete. I didnt mean to keep you indoors over a hot computer in good butterflying weather!!! I think your pages are the best butterfly guide there is.
