Common Blue or Brown Argus??

My money's on common blue because I can see a few blue scales on the wings. I invariably get it wrong so wait for someone else to give you a proper ID.

You're right Susie, as usual (apart from the bit about invariably being wrong :D ).

Incidentally, nigpd, I'm sure I'm not the only person whose computer invariably crops your pictures, as you post them too big. A working maximum of 800px is good for most screens. If you want to post something bigger it is better to do it as an attachment, where a smaller version will be shown in the post and a larger version obtained by clicking on that. I have to download your pictures to my own computer and view them in an image programme to see them properly.
