Post by Robin »

Three new sightings for me this morning on a trip with my wife Pat, to the coast at Hurst Castle in Hampshire.
Firstly a new butterfly, the Glanville:

Secondly a new moth AND a new finger!!

Ummmm! Could it be your hand and the moth looks like a scarlet tiger :)

Hi Lance,

You're close but not quite right with the moth, it is a species of tiger but not the scarlet.

It's not my hand, but to give a clue, its someone that you all know, well sort of anyway.

Cheers,

Hi Lance,
I reckon it is Pete's hand and it was a Cream-Spotted Tiger...
I was there on Saturday 26th May and as well as the Glanvilles, saw two CST's in flight. Is that cheating :?:
