That is a Cinnabar moth Mark.

Is this what my one is as well, please ? I got this in June 2005 in Hampshire but he looks quite similar and I've often wondered what he was !!

Hi,

Later in the summer you may come across the caterpillars of these, very easy to spot on Ragwort. The photo below was taken last July in Cornwall.
