Caterpillars on nettle

Hi

I found these very young larvae today sitting in a big patch of nettles

and just assumed they were Small Tortoiseshell but on checking on the species photos these look much lighter in colour so now I am not so sure.

Can anyone enlighten me?

id say they were small tort, but hmm dont know of any moth that lays lots eggs on nettles? id go for small tort
