Moth and Bird

Post by David M »

A couple of days ago I saw a handful of moths up on the heathland near where I live in Swansea. Some had yellow underwings (like the one in shot) and others had red underwings. Anyone know what they are (same species with some sexual dimorphism perhaps?)

Also, can anyone oblige me with the bird I photographed on the marshland in Swansea Vale earlier today?
