Also interesting to learn that there's going to be some kind of public consultation regarding the process by which the forthcoming selling-off of state-owned forest is to take place.

Did we know that already?

Hi Paul,

I think that was new. I would welcome the chance to air my views on the subject to the government.

Also, there was an item in the news recently about online petitions being discussed in parliament if suffuciently big enough, so that may also be worth doing if you haven't already signed the link on the other thread.

I was also going to mention the consultation but you beat me to it!
