In March last year, Butterfly Conservation held a highly successful International Symposium, on the topic: the 2010 target and beyond for Lepidoptera. The proceedings will be published early in 2011 as a book entitled Lepidoptera in a Changing World, published by Springer. This will be an important volume for all those interested in butterflies, moths and conservation in general. The volume will contain 33 original scientific papers and a foreword from Sir David Attenborough, based on his inspirational opening address.
