Two Blues

Hi

Could someone please confirm ID on these two blues ... the first I have a Common Blue, I'm not to sure on the second, I'm thinking the light blue is more like Chalkhill Blue ...

Assuming it's taken in the UK, the second looks like a common blue too. The chequering on the hindwing is restricted to the inner half of the fringe.

The very blue female Common Blues (first photo) made up a high percentage of the August brood in 2010 with the brown forms being in relatively low numbers.

Many thanks Jack ... that explains why I hadn't seen many of the brown ones (second shot) and that's what was confusing me ...
