Malling Transect data since 1993

Post by Crispin »

Hi
Just put on to Google Docs my transect results for each week going back to 1993.
Some of you (especially those who also do transects) may identify similar trends over the years.

I intend to compile a public version of my annual report with with analysis of 2010 in relation to the previous 26 years, land management and weather conditions - will let you know when it is done but I may not get around to it until mid winter. It is nice entering in butterfly data during the winter as it feels like I'm revisiting summer :D

Only just noticed this but what an interesting read it is with numbers fluctuating from year to year quite considerably.

One thing I must ask though is: how do you count all the Meadow Browns to an exact figure?
