August 2010 competition

This is the August 2010 competition.

To enter the competition, please post a single image, taken within the month of August 2010 (1 post per member) as follows:

- Click on the "Gallery" link and then open the "August 2010" album
- Click the "NEWIMAGE" button
- Follow the instructions to upload a single image

To view the entries:

- Click on the "Gallery" link and then open the "August 2010" album

You'll be able to edit or delete your entry until 5th September. To do this:

- Select the "Moderate" link at the bottom of the image details
- Take the appropriate action

You will be unable to rate or comment on the image until the competition has been voted on. Comments and constructive critique are very welcome thereafter.

Matt - One way would be to post a reply to the 'Competition open for entries' message then you would get an e-mail telling you a reply has been posted when Gary posts the 'Open for voting' reply. That is assuming you turn on e-mail alerts for replies to threads you have posted on.

Don't know if moderators could e-mail all forum members a reminder in some way? On other forums I belong to they have been able to do this.

I just remember we have about the first 2-3 weeks of the month in which to vote and try to remember to do it early in the month. Has worked most times
