Found yesterday in north Kent;

Pritty nice pic. I have only seen one last year and that was my first. It flew so fast I could not catch it and I only saw the underside. Great finding firsts like this. Like the upperside of this butterfly. :)

Thanks guys. This is the first year I've really taken an interest in butterflies (and insects in general) so it's all pretty exciting. No one warned me about all the running around after them though, or about the funny looks you get when sneaking up on bushes! :lol:

I have been studying butterflies and moths for years and still find it hard to catch em and get good shots. Keep trying, patience will pay off.
