I took this picture from a distance at the WC Dover. Since I've never seen an Adonis, I'm wondering if this is one! Can anyone help ID it ? I know about the black line going through the wing, this looks like it does, yet I'm not convinced.

Common Blues do sometimes have quite strong black lines on their wing margins, but they don't extend right through the fringes to the edge as they do in Adonis Blues. Here's one of each:

Also Goldie, once you've seen an Adonis you'll know it, the bright blue is unmistakable - noticably brighter than a Common Blue.
