moth egg i/d

Moth (I presume) egg i/d. Laid on the outside of the window pane (strange place). Vapourer perhaps?

Don't think it's Vapourer - the female lays her batch on her cocoon.

The colouration (and indiscriminate laying!) suggests Buff Ermine

It looks like she got bored and walked off before she had finished.....
