Blue for ID - Romania

Please help me to ID this butterfly. Photos taken on July 21st 2010, near Bucharest.

Cannot help with the ID but, in the top two pictures, it's a female butterfly ovipositing ~ egg laying.

Thank you for your input, Cotswold Cockney. I had noticed myself that the female was laying eggs - an interesting behaviour to look at.
