I put a few pics in my diary thread but I will repost here if no one minds. TBH I was just enjoying myself today and I did take photos but by the time I got there it was really hot and although there were loads of them they were very active so I didn't find it easy to get photos. That being said I still had a grand time, with the sandy path, crickets churring, heat and smell of pines I felt like I was somewhere foreign :)

Hi Susie,
Glad you found them! It's an interesting area for other insects, and birds too (good for nightjars, dartford wobblers etc). The adjacent Stedham Common has Purple Emperors on it - not a lot of people know that! I went along last Monday and have put a few piccies up at viewtopic.php?f=29&t=4065&start=80 See you soon for some PE action! 8)
