Hi Pete,

Thanks for the new forum facility. Yet another great improvement to the site. I'll be a regular visitor here hoping to pick up tips and learn more from the more experienced contributors.

I'm relatively new to butterflying and come from Preston.

Regards,

Karl Johnson.

Hi

I've also loved butterflies (so pretty, so many kinds) and have 1 tattoo of a Blue Butterfly on the back of my neck.

Looking for my next tattoo i started to become alot more interested in the different species. So far my joint favourite must be a Silver Studded Blue and Short Tailed Blue.

How can i choose there all gorgeous.

Hello, I'm new today! I wanted to say that I think this this is a fantastic site, I found it very informative and probably one of the best butterfly sites I have come across.

Hiya Pete
Having joined UK Butterflies in March this year,I thought it was about time I told you what a superb website you have here! It's great to be able to access all the photos and information from various people,be it on species or photo techniques.
I live in Newton,Suffolk, and have been an avid butterfly/moth enthusiast and rearer for 30- odd years.I've been keen on photographing the little beauties since the early 80s,but having only recently purchased my first DSLR (Canon 400D),I'm now hoping to get better shots than ever before.I look forward very much to my continuing use of your site.
Kind regards
Deano. :)
