It is a very faded Burnet Companion moth Eddie.
ps: With all your moth id requests, don't forget there is the ukmoths site with loads of photos too ;o)

Thanks Trev. for the i/d and the information, I do try to use the UK moths site but I find it hard knowing where to start with the species type.
