it's funny how the brain works. I recognised this moth straight away from the pictures, and yet, i've been trying to track down a moth for a couple of days that has been visiting my ceanothus and it's only now i realise it's this one. i reckon if i'd seen it on buttercups i would have got it as i did this one. different nectar source and i was clueless. thanks for clearing up my mystery moth.
