Small Tortoiseshell

My first sighting of the new year, a Small Tortoiseshell sunning it's self at the front of my Mum's bungalow, here in March, Cambridgeshire.
1.40 P.M. Saturday 3rd Febuary, (My youngest Grandson Shay's 1st Birthday)!

Welcome to the forums, bit quiet at the moment, I think a lot of the members are hibernating until the spring

I still haven't seen my first butterfly this year, looking forward to April!
