Personalised avatars

Just been trying to make a personalised avatar, and i'm blowed if i can get one down to 6kbs. This would be a dot. What am i doing wrong? :oops:

You're not asking me to change the limit :lol:

Which is now 20KB (20480 bytes).

I say,,' aah, that's better', but still cannot resolve this.

Re-sizing has always been a problem for me. Ok i can do it easily enough,,,, but i have to do it many times, and delete many images to get the Klbs below the acceptable limit. In the end,,,i usually give up. :(

Sounds like it's not the KBs that's at issue, but the image size.

Just out of interest, Zonda, has your signature changed too? Didn't it say 'knowledge is a myth' before? Or something different from 'luxury'?

It might have, i think i decided that knowledge probably wasn't a myth after all. Knowledge is a luxury tho, if you can afford it. :shock:
