hibernating?

Post by sophisticat »

Just signed up to ask a quick question of the obviously knowledgable folks here. This morning I discovered a Peacock in one of the rabbit hutches - it's up near the roofline and out of reach of the rabbit (unless he gets very interested, which I doubt :D ).

I have no problem with it hibernating there - always assuming that's what it's doing - but didn't know if it would be OK. Does it need any food at this stage or do I assume nature knows what it's doing and just let it be?

heh, no chance of forgetting the rabbit. He and the other three, plus two guineapigs, get breakfast and tea without fail.

Who needs kids, eh? :D
