Since I wrote the report on my trip to Hungary, I've had several requests of possibly coordinating another ("private") trip with Farm Lator next year. The report is at:
http://www.ukbutterflies.co.uk/reports_farmlator.php
In order to help facilitate this (I may or may not be able to attend myself), would all interested parties please respond to this post, and perhaps we could also use it to discuss any aspects of the trip that are not covered by the report.
We'll then take it from there
Some additional info:
- The cost of the trip is dependent on the number in the party; the larger the party the lower the individual cost. But last year the overall cost was quite a bit cheaper than other organisations running similar tours.
- There is a single room supplement. Most visitors are generally happy to room-share (2 per room).
Cheers,
- Pete

Hi Tim,
For a private group of 9 it cost £490, with flights an additional £100.
The rates may be higher in 2007 due to inflation. Also, if less then 9 attend, then the cost will also be higher, I would imagine.
At this stage, I'd have to say that it would be unlikely that I'm able to make the trip myself in 2007 (but 2008 is highly probable!) due to other arrangements.
Cheers,
- Pete

Hi all - this is just a gentle reminder for those thinking of visiting Farm Lator this year that they'd better get their requests in! As many will know, Rob de Jong, who runs Farm Lator, has been very supportive of the UK Butterflies website and has contributed many videos (with more to be added in the coming week!). Farm Lator trip reports can be found at:
