Stick Insects - Cornwall

Post by markhows »

I am visiting cornwall next weekend, hope to see a Monarch. But I wondered if anyone knew where was a good place on the mainland to see stick insects. Apparently there are several colonies but I cannot get specific site details

Thanks

Sorry to be late for your visit, Mark. I just happened to visit this site today. I Googled, of course and here is the map and the handy site
http://www.erccis.co.uk/species/stickinsects.htm
showing the little blighters all over the place - Devon and Cornwall that is. Maybe it's in time to let someone else catch a look befor ethe cold weather presumably kills them off!!!
Regards, dave
