Durlston Butterflies

Post by keithM »

Hi All
Can any kind souls tell me what I've seen here? Pretty sure at least one is an Adonis Blue.
Is the brown one a skipper? What sort?
What is the top blue one with no apparent border to the wings?
All seen on Saturday 29th Aug. Durslton Country Park in Dorset. A sunny day.

Thanks

Hi Keith,

I think the first blue is a male Common Blue.
I think the other blues are male Adonis Blue.
I think the skipper is a male Lulworth Skipper.

Cheers,

- Pete
