I was in the lakes on the weekend and spotted this and quickly got a picture, sorry about the quality. I cannot find it in the identification catalogue.
It had no colouration other than the fad of brown from its body to the wingtips, both sides. can anyone help?

Looks like a Ringlet to me too, all of those that I've seen recently have been very worn.
