Let's hope the winter took its toll on S. bella.

Matt, who lives at valley level (actually, on the lake), had some ST larvae that pupated about the same time as mine (and he failed to identify mine!!). His all metamorphosed 2 weeks quicker than mine, even though my larva came from the valley, and were synchronised with the local emergence. It is remarkable how cleverly nature times things - I saw loads of freshly emerged ST today.
