Grasshoppers...

Post by eccles »

... are a pain.
OK, I know they show that the grass is in a healthy state but why do they insist on sitting right where I am about to place my knee having crept up on that brown argus and am ready to start shooting? I'm ready to go, then zing! the little bugger fires straight at my butterfly sending it off in blind panic and leaving me cussing. Bah...

Going back to sods law, I was taking a picture of an Orange Tip at Bentley Woods.
Seeing as though I have yet to get a photo of one, I followed it around for ages.
It landed - I was too close to get it in focus, took a step back and fell over!
and the butterfly dissapeared.

Whoops. I've had a lot of trouble with orange tips too. They're always on the go aren't they?
