Merry Christmas...!
Merry Christmas...!
I don't know about anyone else here but I shall be off doing the Christmas thing from here on so I doubt if I shall be logging-on again until the New Year.
So to Pete, Gary, Guy, and all the forum members - have a great Christmas and a happy and healthy 2009.
Best wishes to all,
Felix.

Re: Merry Christmas...!
Merry Christmas Felix and all! Yes, I hope I won't be glued to a computer for the next few days either!
That's a lovely Christmas card, Lisa. Such a pity there's nothing like that in the shops.
Season's best,
Guy

Re: Merry Christmas...!
Hope you all had a good one. Lisa and myself like to do something a bit different on Christmas day, this year we went to the Brecon Beacons. Our original plan was to climb Pen y fan, but with the low cloud, we decided to go with plan B, and photograph some waterfalls instead. Had a great, if tiring day, and got plenty of good shots.

Re: Merry Christmas...!
Wow Gruditch I am very jealous of your Christmas Day! Not many people can say that they spent their Christmas day in front of a waterfall.
What was it like? Cloudy as you said, did the weather hold alright for you?
I have quite an interesting New Years Eve and Day planned , what is everyone doing for New Year?

I am not jealous of your xmas day, Gruditch, I wouldn't have swopped mine for the world, but those are some really stunning photos.
I am doing absolutely nothing at all for New Year this year, my choice.

than the forecast, we got to see the Sun for the first time in six days.
We only saw one other group of people, lost without a map in fading light, attempting to wade the river, just up stream from where Lisa took that pic of me. I talked them into using the path under Yr Eira, ( the big waterfall with a path behind ).Markulous wrote:Ahhh, looks like Ystradfellte!
