2 Large Torts reported from different sections of Orlestone Forest (Kent ) ,also East Blean Woods ,and the area in Kingsnorth ,Ashford (Kent ) where a two or three were noted in the spring. Kent butterflies facebook page.

Hello Pete ,
Also the one I mentioned and posted from Orlestone on the 17th July (July sightings ) also worth looking at "X" (Twitter) page for "Chequertree " 3 sightings in his garden (well one in an upstairs room ) with pictures and video.

Seen by a friend, Andy Fryer, at his property on the outskirts of Storrington (West Sussex) on 16 July 2024. I failed to relocate it the following day and suspect it was sniffing around his outbuildings for an overwintering spot.
