Early morning for butterflies

Post by Oy »

Hi all

There's a chance I could be at Arnmside Knott very early tomorrow morning - between about 6am and 8am.

Is it worth looking for our fluttery friends that early or am I wasting my time?

When I visited yesterday, I arrived at 0830 and it was still pretty cool. Not much flying at all, although it was quite easy to "kick up" (inadvertantly of course!) the odd Scotch Argus and Grayling.

Even when the temperature rose, things weren't that flighty.

So - get some kip!

Cheers,

- Pete

Hmmm.... I may aim for a bit later on then.

I've got some ideas for some nice landscapey shots so I may do those first :)

Thanks Pete!
