Favourite Butterfly Photo 2023

The Winter Social has been mentioned, the LTBs have featured on the Sightings threads and we’re experiencing an October mini-heatwave. All of these things strongly indicate that the Favourite Photo threads will be starting soon, very soon, so this is a prompt to remind you to start looking through your images from throughout the year and start selecting the Faves!

In fact the first three species (Adonis Blue, Black Hairstreak and Brimstone) will be released next Sunday but please could I ask that everyone waits until a topic has been opened by me for a particular species before posting photos as then it will be easier to keep track of things? Of course our overseas members are very welcome to fill in the obvious gaps relating to rare UK migrants. Also feel free to include any stages of the life-cycle. As in previous years details of locations, dates, times and circumstances would be most welcome as would any accompanying stories and anecdotes or other observations of behaviour and interesting other points.
