The clocks will be going back soon, children are starting to think about scary costumes and the shops have started stocking Mince Pies
! All of which can only mean that it's almost that time of year when the Favourite Photo threads start appearing. Each week there will be three threads opened up (with the occasional bonus) for you to place your fave shot for the species. This should take us through the long and dreary winter and the 20 weeks will culminate in a thread for your Favourite Overall Butterfly Photo 2022, so it might be a good idea to have a think about this choice first 
. The first three species (Adonis Blue, Black Hairstreak and Brimstone) will be released next Sunday but please could I ask that everyone waits until a topic has been opened by me for a particular species before posting photos as then it will be easier to keep track of things? Of course our overseas members are very welcome to fill in the obvious gaps relating to rare UK migrants. Also feel free to include any stages of the lifecycle
. As in previous years details of locations, dates, times and circumstances would be most welcome as would any accompanying stories and anecdotes or other observations of behaviour and interesting other points.See you this time next week!
