Heavily marked Large Skipper ?

Just returned from a very pleasant trip to Jersey in the Chanel Isles, not much chance for butterfly photography but I did see this presumed Large Skipper, but I have never seen a Large Skipper so heavily patterned as this little chap in the UK, any comments welcome

I'd say it looks like a normal aged female Large Skipper. I've noticed that as they age the markings become more contrasting (same as with Lulworth Skippers).
Some addictions are good for the soul!
