What a Sight!!

Post by Shirley Roulston »

During the summer how pleased I was to see so many butterflies, many White's. Where do they lay their eggs, well, my Broccoli plants thats where!. I'll be off to the supermaket for my greens this year and what do I do about the larva, its every where on the inside of the doors, on the plastic even on the cold metal posts. Now, I know the plastic is dirty but it is a poly tunnel. First the caterpillar, ok a few, a few can't do much damage :( :?

, no gardening to-day so I'll go and see if I can see some Holly Blue larva- where do I start, I'll think I'll have a cup of tea instead.

Hi Shirley,
On the positive side, you will be able to get some great shots for the "Immature Stages" comp.
I have a feeling that this year will be more hotly contested than last, as we have all been looking harder.

Cheers
Denise
