Hawkers head

Hi chaps,
Wandering around Monkwood today in search of anything that would stay still long enough for me to photograph it, I came across a Southern Hawker that kindly oblidged ( nothing else stayed still for more than a few seconds ) - this stayed put for 10 minutes 8)

Really nice image, Southern Hawkers tend to be very obliging once perched.

Nice, but would be better at f8 or f11 I think.

A chap got a photo of a southern hawker face in the Torygraph recently, on the grounds that it was smiling. He said it looked like a bear. Not much happening in the world that day, I presume!

I thought this was a reasonable shot until I read that not only did it apparently look like a bear as you say, BUT it was caught on a cameraphone! Maybe this is where I am going wrong - get rid of the expensive digital SLRs and go get a cameraphone (I'm assuming it was still made by Canon tho :P ). Mark
