Sorry - Another Moth!!!

Post by Sylvia Godfrey »

I seem to have encountered a number of moths over the last couple of days!! Not very clear I'm afraid - it was very windy on Friday but can anyone assist please?

Many thanks,

Sylvia.

I'd say Agrotis vestigialis, but there are a couple of rarities, I'm not familiar with.

Many thanks JKT, that would make sense, having found the species on the UKMOTHS web site it indicates that this species favours coastal locations and sandhills. I photographed this moth at Braunton Burrows in North Devon. :)

Cheers,

Sylvia.
