Website - European butterfly photography etc.

Discussion forum for any overseas items (given that this is a "UK" butterflies forum!).

Website - European butterfly photography etc.

Post by petesmith »

Several of you have already been kind enough to view and comment on my website, which I published yesterday.
If anyone else wishes to view a few photographs - mainly of European butterflies - that I have taken over the past two decades, please feel free to have a look. It isn't a comprehensive guide to European butterflies, just a selection of personal favourite images, and a few other bits and pieces. Hopefully they might raise the spirits during the dark winter months!
Best wishes.
Pete.

Absolutely stunning pictures, Pete, of some really special species. I've only had time to go through some of them - the Spanish collection - but it was a real pleasure and I'll be back.

Many thanks Guy. Really pleased you enjoyed them - feedback like that makes the effort to put the website together all the more worthwhile. The Spain page and the Greek page are my two favourite pages, although in terms of individual favourite images I have more in the French collection.

Enjoy the remainder when you get chance!

Regards

Pete

Sorry for the tardy response, Pete - has taken me a few days to look at all the images.

I love the website (particularly given how much of the habitat is familiar to me!)

That Canary Large White female looks ever more stunning each time I see it!

Very nice, Pete - a well-laid out site and, of course, many nice images! I really like the habitat shots, which makes for something refreshing.

Cheers,

- Pete

Thanks David! I shall yet win you over to Pieris cheiranthi. Before long you will be booking a flight out to the Canary Islands, COVID permitting...
