A meadow brown butterfly?

Hello all, i'm brand new to this site and i had a butterfly that i wanted to confirm.

I believe it to be a Meadow Brown Butterfly (Maniola jurtina) but as you can see from the photograph, it isn't the best shot of it i'm afraid. If anyone would be able to confirm this for me or correct me i would be very grateful, as i am trying to identify it for a Duke Of Edinburgh Gold project. Maybe if i had taken the photograph with the butterfly itself in shade, it would have come out better.
